Insecurity in the World Today

People who are insecure, especially children, often seek the approval of others to conquer their feelings of rejection and low self-esteem. They may try to find recognition and positive emotions through drugs, alcohol, sex, and other means. These things only lead to life problems. When people deal with insecurity, only one thing can and will set them free, and that is God's truth. The truth is that we do not need to strive to obtain from man what God freely gives us: love, acceptance, approval, security, meaning, and value. These positive values (through God) can change a person’s life forever. He is our Refuge, our High Tower, our Strength, our Stronghold in times of trouble and our Hiding Place (Psalm 9:9). Our worth, value, acceptance, and approval should only come from Him. As long as we have those, we have the most treasured things in the world! VERY INTERESTING!!!
